I have two Cavs -- one from Alan & Brenda Smith -- and they are the loveliest little cuddle bunnies. The first year is the hardest with puppies but they're so adorable it's easy to forget. Our eldest is nine years old and as a puppy we called him Tsunami Puppy because of the way he would jump on the bed in the morning. You could see it coming but were powerless to stop it. He's very mellow now.
It's so good to hear that they calm down! Napoleon has now taken to gutting anything he can get his teeth on, so his toys last approximately 4 hours before he's completely destroyed them and moved onto something that typically has more sentimental value, haha! My favorite moments are when he's sleeping and not destroying something!
